Questions, formula corrections, and calculator suggestions all go to one inbox. Every message is read by the person who maintains the calculators.
Found a formula error?
Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. To let us check it quickly, include:
- Which calculator, or the page address.
- The inputs you entered, exactly as typed.
- The result you got and the result you expected, and where the expected number comes from (an IRS table, a lender's statement, another tool).
We re-run the case by hand against the formula and source listed on the methodology page. If the calculator is wrong, it is fixed, a test is added so the same mistake can't come back, and the change is recorded in the update log on that page.
Suggesting a calculator
Tell us the question you were trying to answer and what the existing tools got wrong or left out. We add a calculator only when we can tie its formula to a primary source such as irs.gov or ssa.gov, so a link to the rule you have in mind helps.
What we can't help with
We can't give personal tax, investment, legal, or medical advice, or review your own return or loan documents. The calculators and guides are educational estimates. The disclaimer explains their limits. For a decision that depends on your full situation, a CPA, enrolled agent, fee-only financial planner, or doctor is the right person to ask.
Your message and privacy
Your email address is used only to reply to you. It isn't added to a mailing list or shared. The privacy policy covers what the site itself collects.
Response time
This is an independently run site, so replies aren't instant, but every message is read and corrections are handled before anything else.
