The calculators and guides on ClearPathCalc are built to help you understand the math behind a decision. They are a starting point, not a substitute for advice from someone who knows your full situation.

General

Every result on this site is an estimate produced from the inputs you provide and the formula shown on the page. If an input is wrong or a real-world factor is missing, the result will be wrong too. Always check important numbers against official documents: your loan statement, your tax return, your benefit or plan documents, or your utility bill.

Financial and investment calculators

Growth projections assume a constant rate of return. Real investments rise and fall, and past returns do not predict future returns. Loan and refinance results assume the terms you enter and do not include every fee, penalty or lender condition. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment or to take out or repay any loan. For decisions involving significant sums, speak with a licensed financial adviser or your lender.

Tax figures

Tax calculators use the federal brackets and standard deduction published by the IRS for the tax year shown, and apply them to the income you enter. They do not include state or local income tax, most credits, itemized deductions, alternative minimum tax, or special situations. Tax law changes often. For filing, use official IRS guidance or a qualified tax professional.

Health calculators

BMI, body fat, waist-to-hip ratio and calorie and macro results are screening estimates based on published equations for adults. They are not a diagnosis and are not intended for children, teenagers, or anyone who is pregnant. They may be less accurate for athletes, older adults and some ethnic groups. Do not start, stop or change any diet, exercise program or treatment based on these results without talking to a doctor or registered dietitian. If you have a medical concern, contact a healthcare professional.

Business calculators

Return on investment, return on ad spend, project timeline and productivity results depend entirely on the assumptions you enter, such as margins, hours saved and hourly costs. They do not account for taxes, financing, or effects that are hard to measure, such as attribution across marketing channels.

Energy and sustainability calculators

Solar, electric vehicle and carbon results use typical rates and emission factors that vary by region, utility and season. Federal incentives change; several ended in 2025, and each calculator page states which rules it applies. Get a written quote and check current state and utility programs before buying equipment.

Advertising

ClearPathCalc is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly separate from the content. We do not choose individual advertisers, and an ad is not an endorsement. Advertisers have no influence over our calculators or articles.
